Fold Guide

The following fold guide is intended to help guide you through the steps to fold the single sheets into single units that are core to building our current Everfold models. These fold guides follow the same instructions included in every Everfold set and use a Practice Sheet as the example. This unit origami method is based upon Sonobe unit origami.

    Begin by folding the sheet in half by bringing the top edge to the bottom.

    Fold front portion in half by bringing the front bottom edge to the top folded edge as shown. Repeat behind.

    Open the back half to look like the next step.

  • 4

    Fold the corners shown, crease, and return flat.

  • 5

    Open all the way flat with the white side facing up.

    Fold the bottom corner on the existing angled crease line.

    Fold the bottom edge up along the existing horizontal crease line.

    Fold corner along the existing angled crease as shown.

    Fold corner along the existing angled crease as shown.

    Fold top edge down along the existing horizontal crease as shown.

    Fold corner along the existing angled crease. Tuck the corner within and underneath the flap. All color and graphics should be showing when folded correctly.

    Fold in half.

    Fold corner flap.

    Flip over to show the other side.

    Fold other corner flap.

    Open up completed unit.

    Single unit complete.

 

Build Guide

All folded single units can be matched and connected to complete the model. Piece together the units one by one to build the model and solve the puzzle. Once all pieces are in their correct place, the model will be compete with a unified design of color and graphics. The following diagrams are here to help show you how to get started.

    Each single unit features two tabs and two pockets as shown.

  • 2

    Match the correct color and graphics and insert tab firmly into the pocket of another unit to join 2 units together.

    Join 3 units and press together firmly to form a tight 3-sided pyramid.

  • Objective

    Fold model sheets, then match and connect all units to complete the model and solve the puzzle. Enjoy!
